I'm done reading Harry Potter 7

Now I can get back to worrying about things like how the hell I will be ready to leave Seattle in only a week :(

(I did accomplish some more packing and ditching of stuff today, and even some shoe shopping, but mostly I was reading.)

I don't want to really comment on anything except that I recall one moment of thinking, "My god, is this the real book, or is it fanfic?" No, I mean, the book was good, it's just I remember reading some hypotheses a few years back after book 6 came out and I was thinking "haha no WAY" and then sure enough...

Also, this is entirely unspoilery but we had seafood for dinner tonight and I was thinking Accio Salmon!

"My god, is this the real book, or is it fanfic?"

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who had this thought.

I did a few times too but I loved it overall.

Good luck with your packing. Let's go rock Japan!

I loved the Accio Salmon scene. It's the bits of "if you had this magic in this setting, how would you use it?" even though it doesn't move the plot along that were much more fun than the forced "and then X happens, and now Y." Those little bits of play along the way made it a fun romp.

Hee! At "Accio Salmon", I was thinking of the old Sesame Street schtick. "Here, fishyFishyFISHY!" *thudump*
