So I worked on some more of my Japan baseball pictures (decided to just do the Osaka Dome set rather than all of September 9th as one full set), meanwhile watching another episode of Anna-san no Omame (oh man, talk about suspension of reality), and the final episode of Brother Beat, finally! (I liked the show overall, but the ending was pretty anticlimactic. I'm also really amazed at how everything I've seen Kadono Takuzo in, he's basically been the one-dimensional obstinate father of the female lead. But every other character in BB was pretty vivid.)
And then I finally remembered to watch (well, listen to, mostly) the Sana-Sonic live DVD that came with her EP "Avril", and I'm really wondering -- how the hell old is Sana, anyway? She seriously almost strikes me as being like a Japanese version of Renee Zellweger or something almost, I know that's not quite the right comparison, but she just looks a lot older than I imagined, like in her mid-to-upper 30's. Even on the PNM live discs I watched with DJ a few years ago, she didn't seem THAT much older than say, Riyu or Noria. On the other hand, on this disc Kiyotaka Sugimoto (otherwise known as the "Sugi" in "Sugi & Reo") came out and sang 8月のサヨナラ with her, and that was really rad, as it's still probably one of my favorite Sana songs ever.
Oh yeah, and live version of Space Dog rules :) Though the best song on the DVD is probably Loveholic.
I finished two of the things I wanted to get done tonight, and really ought to go to sleep, even though I am not tired.
