Er, I'm back in Seattle

and not feeling so well. Though maybe it's just general disorientation and nothing to be overly concerned about. I keep trying to hit shift-7 when I need to type apostrophes, too.

Yeah, so I got up and finished packing, left my bags at the ryokan, and then went around for two hours or so. I stopped by the Tokyo Dome for more baseball cards, stopped by Ikebukuro West Gate Park to take some pictures of it, and got kaiten sushi for one last time (it's going to kill me the first time I have to pay like $25 here for what I got for like $9 in Japan), and played a last game of Pop'n'Music.

Then I got my bag, got to the Narita Express, got to the airport, got some last-minute newspapers and a last-minute ice cream cone, and then I got on the plane.

I watched "Just My Luck", a stupid but cute movie with Lindsay Lohan in it, "The Family Stone", a less stupid but pretty awkward movie with Sarah Jessica Parker and a whole lot of other famous people in it, and the last X-Men movie since I'd never seen it, though I think it was wasted on me because you can't really enjoy the special effects on a tiny airplane movie screen.

Unfortunately, I only slept for maybe 20 minutes total on the plane, which means that by the time I got off the plane, out of customs, immigration, recovered my bags, and then had to carry my now-55-pound backpack suitcase to the bus, to another bus, and then the several blocks home from the Market&Ballard bus stop... I really was feeling in no condition to do much of anything. I plugged my camera into my computer to download my pictures, went to lay down for a bit to basically straighten out my back, which was hurting like mad, and... I fell asleep. Guess that was around 1pm. (which would be like 5am Japan time) Woke up at like 6pm (which would be like 10am Japan time, which is about when I've been waking up).

I'm not really sure where the last hour or two have gone... I went and sorted out my mail, unpacked a few things, and have been trying to catch up on some net stuff but utterly failing. Seriously, I may try to read parts of my friends page from the last 3 weeks but I doubt it, so if there's anything I need to know, tell me, okay?

Also, I have, literally, about 3000 pictures to go through. This is going to take bloody FOREVER.

So I guess I'm going to continue to zone out for now and then hope I can get to sleep at a "decent hour", which will be basically any time that gives me at least 5 more hours of sleep before waking up at 8-9ish for work. In theory I'd like to clean up around here a little but I feel a little dizzy every time I quickly stand up or sit down, so we'll see.
