Japan Day 11
I'm in Tokyo now. Took the shinkansen up this afternoon and slept the entire trip, amazingly enough, but I had a huge crick in my neck afterwards, which made it sort of painful carrying my 40 pounds of backpack through the streets of Ikebukuro. Ah well. I talked to an old guy in the train station about baseball for a while since the Mariners game was on TV. He was really impressed that I knew so much about Japanese and MLB baseball stuff, and said that in Japan a lot of women love to go to games and cheer but don't really know much about the sport. Weird.
I didn't really know what to do today, so I ended up going to Chiba for the Eagles-Marines game. The Eagles won. I wrote about it on Marinerds as usual. Getting to and from Chiba took a LOT longer than I remembered. Hmm.
Hopefully I will go back to the Kimi now and actually find Carl, and then find Oren tomorrow, and so on...
