sundaymonday

I know, I have nothing to say except "Moving. Bleh."

Sunday was more moving. There was also Pagliacci's pizza. It was good.

I walked over to Giant Eagle Safeway at one point for drinks and a snack and some medicine (my throat hurts, sigh) and as I was walking out of the supermarket, this guy was walking in wearing a bright green t-shirt with an orange squid on it, and I almost walked into him.

"Whoops, excuse me," he said.
"Hey, nice squid," I blinked.
"Thanks," he replied, and walked by.

That was probably the most coherent conversation I had all day Sunday, although I think at some point Gautam called me to say him and Gopi and Tao were going to dinner, and I was just so deep in moving stuff that I couldn't get away.

I was up too late and slept too late, bleh.

Tonight I CLEARED OUT MY HALL CLOSET!!11!111!one. I threw out a whole box of old toys that my dad sent me a few years ago; I didn't even think they were worthy of Goodwill. Stuff like a Philly Phanatic with its nose coming off, a Popple with its legs coming off, a stuffed dog I sewed in home ec in 7th grade or so with its head on sideways to begin with. There were two Cabbage Patch Kids still in reasonable condition, which I put in the box of Stuff I Need To Send To My Mom. I moved over a few boxes of stuff as usual again. Whoosh. I also discovered a hidden cache of boxes in the back of that closet.

Oh yeah, and [profile] dvarin lost his network and I found my headset for my phone, so I talked to him while packing and whatnot. Very exciting.

My bedroom closet is also almost entirely empty, except some clothes and a guitar. I've been working on clearing crap out of the living room so maybe we can disassemble the videogaming unit and take it over tomorrow.

I keep thinking maybe I should just get rid of a TON of my stuff. I'm talking like... all the clothes I haven't worn in the last 2 years, any books I haven't opened, etc. It's difficult, though, especially videogames. And maybe I should just throw out all of my old casette tapes -- I barely ever listen to them either. Oh well.

Somewhere along the line I also cranked out a Mariners fanfic about Jeremy Reed which is more of a Batgirl style parody applied to the Mariners than anything. I really should do more of those, I think.
