Lazy Saturday

Since Zach seems to have come down with the same cold I did, we didn't do very much today, which was fine with me since I wasn't sure what cool "Seattle" stuff I could come up with anyway. We walked to/from Red Mill for lunch, and it was a really nice day for a walk, lots of people and dogs around, and then we sat around and watched Mr. Baseball, and then went to Golden Gardens to see the sunset, with a stop off at Archie McPhee on the way back. More goofing off, and then Chinook's for dinner, which was really good, I wish I went there more. Then Zach suggested watching Major League 2. Now, Zach is asleep on the couch since he has to get up in like 3 hours for his flight, and I am watching the World Baseball Cup, though I expect to go to sleep soon since Shunsuke Watanabe's done pitching. This IS a great game though, as I expected, very close still, 2-1 in the 5th. Lots of great talent here, exceptionally good hitting and fielding from BOTH sides, though I'd have to say the pitching is much better from Japan so far.

I wish moving didn't suck so much. It'd be nice to find a roomate one of these days. It's been nice having someone around for the last day or two. Zach should move out here and he and Oren and I could go start Shady House Seattle! (the three of us plus Haefele and Allwein were the original five residents of the lounge-generational Shady House) Well, except the whole "commuting from completely different parts of town" issue. Heh.
