The World of Warcraft board game can be played to completion in 3.5 hours with four players who know what they're doing. Even if Josh screws up the first four turns or so by getting us killed soloing. I still got to level 5 as the Horde Shaman and rolled tons of dice. Unfortunately, the game was a draw, ending in the PvP as usual, with Cory and Justin at 4/5 and Josh and I at 4/5. Josh and Justin died, and then Cory and I killed each other. Fun fun.
The puppy is a pain in the butt sometimes. He gets too excited about there being a bazillion people around. But he's still cute.
Pop'n'Music songs piss me off when they're rated 32 and the first 85% of the song is incredibly easy and I can full-combo it and then I hit an impossible ending. Case in point: Foundation of Our Love, Hyper. If you know the song at all from IIDX, it's trivial for most of it. Bleh. I think it's pretty amusing how my wild button-mashing on these songs is becoming controlled button-mashing, and that's where the skill comes in.
I've been listening to the original cast recording from the musical Hairspray on repeat for the last few days, heh.
Supposedly, the crazy rain and winds I see outside, and a few flickers of the lights, are actually from some super mega hurricane winds that will CRUSH SEATTLE! What a crisis! I guess we'll see what it's like in the morning.
