roadtrip.

I'm thinking of getting in the car and driving to either Vancouver BC or Portland OR either tomorrow or Thursday, probly Thursday and probably Vancouver. How hard is it for me to get to the place up in BC that has IIDX?

(I'd rather go to Portland when their baseball team is in town, see... Oh, and Jeff, we should go to the Rainiers game on May 5th, since I know it's a Thursday I don't have D&D, and I *think* it'll be a home start for Felix Hernandez, if we're counting every 5th day...)

I vote for Portland and the weekend, but thats just me.

Someday I'll visit the state and see the really big book store.

Easy to get to E-spot.

Take I-5 north, stay on it until you get in canada, it turns into H-99. take the Westchester exit in Richmond (No. 5 road). Take a left. Go straight until No. 3 road, take a right. Take a left on Alderbridge, E-spot will be on your right.

Westminster, not Westchester. :)

Oh, and E-spot is way in back between two buildings that are very near the Alderbridge/No. 3 corner. If you hit a traffic light on Alderbridge, you've gone too far. Heck, if you follow the left curve immediately after No. 3 on Alderbridge, you've gone too far. :)

If you wanna go with landmarks, turn left at the weird bus loopy thing on #3 when you see a Petcetera on your left. If you see the Real Canadian Superstore on the left, you've passed it and gone too far and need to U-Turn and Hang a right at the first light when you U-Turn.

Confusing enough? ;)

Not confusing enough: You didn't say "turn right at the next light after where the PetroCan station used to be" or anything like that.

It depends on when you come up Dea. I can't do it any time this week if you were planning on coming to down in the next couple days :/

[identity profile] fuj.livejournal.com 2005-04-27 05:06 am (UTC)(link)
I still may do it Dea, but it won't be till the middle of the season. I'll have to check out the Mariners sched :)

Hey, I don't have your number anymore...I was standing in front of a few McFarlane Mike Schmidt figs on Sunday and neither of the numbers I had for you worked, so I had to pass on buying them because I didn't know if you'd want them. :(

by the way, it's so ridiculously easy to find espot. really.

well, it's easy to get within 100 feet of it, but then you have to look behind a building. but still. easy.

I think they had Taiko No Tatsujin the last time I was at E-Spot, though that was quite a number of months ago. They also had a very recent Guitar Freaks and Drum Mania.
