baseball 'n' stuff
A few weeks ago I made a post about the baseball postseason.
I was off on the numbers, but so far all of my MLB picks won their respective titles. No, I haven't edited that post at all. Yes, I'm still saying Boston in 6 for the End of the World Series.
However, I couldn't have been more dead wrong about NPB. Seibu smacked down the Hawks in the playoffs and then proceeded to win against Chunichi. A shame, as the Dragons haven't won a Japan Series since 1954. Doh. (I mean, even the Fighters have won more recently, that being in 1962.)
I want a red/white sloop called the Hiroshima Carp.
(Uh - for normal update -- I didn't yesterday -- there was quiz night, and a Lord of the Rings category, and we booched the 40-point round, ah well. Also, I got in my Pop'n games from Himeya, but I DON'T HAVE A CONTROLLER, and they're not stocking ASC's until December, and the Ransai guys are all busy with college last I checked. Sigh.)
