home again
I tried to catch up with LJ from the weekend but it's just not happening. I guess I hit most of the important points like people getting in car crashes and whatnot.
Anyway, today I got up and I-Gene took me to the BART station and I went to Oakland and had lunch with![[profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
catamorphism in the middle of Oakland's Chinatown. I'd never been to Oakland before for real so it was kind of exciting. We had lunch at a place with cheap lunch specials and chatted about work and stuff.
Got back on BART, went to Berkeley, called Kui, he came down to the station to meet me, then we went into the city to Muffy's house. She was asleep when we got there (she worked from home today in part because she was sick and in part so we could come over and hang out) so Chris answered the door. He's cut off all his hair! We chatted with him for a while, then Muffy woke up, and a bit later Adam came home, and so the four of us not Chris played a game of Ticket to Ride, which was fun (and I totally cleaned up, finishing with like 132 points).
After that we went to dinner at a little italian place near their house. It was really good, I got some weird pasta I don't know how to spell (orechiette?) that was neat. Then sadly I had to go to the airport and all. Rif went back to do more work and Adam gave me a ride to the airport and Kui a ride back to BART.
Despite getting to the airport at like 7:15pm for an 8:23 flight I did okay. I slept through the whole flight, came back here, and have been trying to catch up on stuff, mostly failing. And bleh, work tomorrow...
But hey. ALDS tomorrow too :) Go Red Sox!
