Tuesday
For Carl's last day in town, we went to Blue C Sushi again. It was slightly less crowded this time, and they didn't have amaebi, but on the other hand, whee, kaitensushi. We hung out here for a bit, I watched Carl do nav in PP and all I can say is, basically he's faster than me and just has a better sense of how to arrange the stars than I do. I dunno how to pick that up per se. We went out to Redmond after that, to the Celtic Bayou, because I had a gift certificate to there that was going to expire on August 4th. Anyway, the good thing is -- Celtic Bayou is another place that you can go play board games at, apparently! We met up with Drew, who is now back from playing enough bridge to shake a stick at, and Brian. Got dinner and played Tigris&Euphrates (Carl won) and Settlers of Catan (Drew won). Then it was late and I had to drive Carl to the airport so he could go back to Pittsburgh. :(
Spent the evening on PP. Astute viewers will notice that Janthina has temporarily left Black Death. I needed some politic-free drama-free peace and quiet to re-evaluate things for a bit.
