weekend update
Bleh, the addiction continues. I haven't updated all weekend, somewhat due to PP.
Mind you, that isn't what I did all weekend. We got back to town around 1am Saturday morning, to Tacoma that is, and I decided to press on and drive home, getting in around 2am. Whee. So weird to be back.
Went to sleep, got up around 10:30... took care of my rent check (but I just realized I wrote a check for the wrong amount, hopefully I can do something about that tomorrow), and took the bus downtown to meet up with Jeff for the Mariners game. I have of course figured out what the Mariners problem this year is -- I haven't been going to enough games. Because of course they won this one, since I showed up :) It was a pretty good game too, although there was a crazy close call in the later innings with all the relievers walking a ton of people.

tangerinpenguin since he was in town this weekend interviewing and stuff. He brought me a duck! It is huuuuuuuge. I tried to take a picture of it but cannot do it justice. Anyway, I took Chris to Blue C Sushi for dinner because hey, I love that place and like showing it off and hadn't been there since before my trip and all. So whee. We sat there for a while talking and eating sushi. And I couldn't really think of any good Seattle stuff to do afterwards, so we went back downtown and bought tickets to the Harry Potter movie for 10:15pm, which gave us an hour or so to walk around downtown. So I showed him Westlake and Pacific Place since the busways go there, and where the monorail would be if it wasn't broken, and we stopped by Gameworks (I saw Gilly for a few mins. And I played one game of DDR and managed 8 greats on Happy Wedding Heavy, which astounded me), and went into a few stores, and whatnot. Got to the theater at 9:45 again and waited in line... but got decent seats anyway, yay.
I won't say much about the Harry Potter movie since I dunno who's seen it and who hasn't. I enjoyed it but had issues with it. That's about it. Oh, and there's a disappointing lack of stuff after the credits.
Drove Chris back, came home, played PP. Oi. Well, it was still a good evening hanging out and all! Yay!
And actually, all I really did today is play PP as well. I did sort through my bills and I *finally* watched all of my B'z DVDs that I bought in Japan, and I went out for an hour to Sunset Bowl to play more DDR, and I started going through my trip pictures to post them, and I tried to catch up on LJ but let's face it, three weeks is just ridiculous for me to catch up on. (I did read a few select ones and am saddened by the events in some people's lives.) But yeah, for the most part, today I just sat around and DIDN'T DRIVE. Well, I really blame Kuibbles since he pillaged for 16 hours and I came along for like 10 of it. Oi. Oh, and sigh... Kuibbles gave me a present... a sloop... renamed to the "Ultimate Carp"... it is quite a lovely shade of green, as all of Kui's ships are, so I had to go get a new green outfit to wear on it. Whee. And of course I hit Illustrious in carpentry today, too. So he was like "Well, I'll just have to get you the Sublime Carp when you hit that!"
Yah, so anyway, that was my weekend. In theory I will do things this week, like maybe go to Free Bemani Night, and the Mariners game, and Redmond board games, and hopefully catch Megan and Josh sometime, and stuff like that. And during the days go shopping for costume stuff since I'm gonna make a k-rad Janthina McPirate outfit for the PP party in July. Whee!
