神の御加護がありますよう
I put this title in mostly to annoy Carl. Although I sort of feel like I could use some divine guidance anyway.
Hmmm, so we went and got indian food last night (yes, indian food for lunch and for dinner, whee) and then played games in the CS undergrad lounge. Although we were supposed to play Cosmic Encounter, I had also brought Starfarers of Catan, and it looked like we had ten people or so to play stuff, so I said "Ok, I'll start explaining starfarers... and other people can play Cosmic." So Noble, Brian R, Mark the freshman and I ended up playing Starfarers. It took like 3 hours, but it was a lot of fun. Noble ended up winning. It was a lot more balanced than the last game I played in the lounge; at the end all of the alien races had at least 3 trade ships on them, and there were only like three or four empty colonization spots on the board. The only unbalance was that 6 got rolled more than just about anything, and Brian had nothing on a 6. Everyone was saying how cool a game it was and they should buy it - and then I was like "Keep in mind it costs like $60. You wouldn't want to leave it in the lounge..."
Carl and Dan and people played Settlers normal because they didn't have 5 people for Cosmic after all. Oops. I'd feel bad except I had so much fun playing starfarers. :)
I came home and played a lot of Simcity and SSX. Wheeeeeee! And Eli made fudge! Yay!
Tonight should be exciting, there's a lot of parties going on. I just hope I don't get sick again... Eli was sort of sick yesterday, and my throat felt a little icky this morning. Blah.

Under konqueror for Linux, dr4b's shows up as question marks while dvarin's shows up as a lot of euro symbols and european characters.
