Games, and other games involving pirates.
Yesterday after work I went over to Megan and Josh's house for games. I was a little late so I ended up eating dinner (which was this fantastic chicken-and-sausage stew) and hanging out with Megan and Heidi for a while, and then we had 6 people for games so we split up into threes. Cory and Lloyd and I played Puerto Rico, while Josh and HP and Darcy played some other game I already forget the name of, which ended early and then they played Villa Paletti or something, which was kind of like a very messed up version of Jenga. Unfortunately we were all on the same table, so the PR side had to be very careful about not leaning on the table to not disturb the building on the other side. Which was bad, but the good part was, while waiting for anyone (read: Cory) to make long decisions in Puerto Rico, you could sit there and watch the other game go, which was pretty amusing. In the end, Cory won with 52 points, I had 51, Lloyd had 43 or so. 3-player PR is always kind of weird.
Lloyd, HP, and Darcy all left at that point, and the rest of us hung out for a bit... Josh and Cory and I ended up playing a game of Corsairs, which went much better than the last game of that I'd played (and I'm not just saying that because I had crazy luck with the dice and won). There were no major commodity deadlocks and there was pretty even boarding and shooting and all. So, a good game. Yay. Cory gave me a ride home, and I should have just unpacked a box or two and gone to sleep...

chirik taking us on a trip to Flow and back. I was totally falling over by the end of the night, but I was making a shot at the top ten in carpentry (I got up to 7th in Diamond), and even better... Masterpiece^23 Combo. Highest known combo so far in the Midnight Ocean. Told you I'd have to go for a 20+ eventually, Carl :) Still not in the ocean top ten though. Grumble.
Whee, and now I'm doing laundry and unpacking again. Also, I have a phone here, as I mentioned, so now you can actually call me from the front door to get let into the building, which means you should all come visit me!
