italian food and illusionzzzz

Today we slept in and we tried to get eggplant parmesan for dinner. Went to Buca di Beppo but it was PACKED WITH PEOPLE (and didn't satisfy). An hour and fifteen wait didn't strike us as fun, so we went to Rialto's, up near Greenlake. Eli really likes this place but I'm nonplussed by it - it's this charming neighborhood italian restaurant where the staff is really nice and the food is really unique. We had these eggplant rolls for appetizers, they were good but not quite the same. Shrug. Anyway, at least I think it made Eli happy to go there, and we got to talk.

After that I went to Illusionz! Hung out with Kiefer, Thunderbird, and Tada. Oh, and Robert (Tekku2o7) was there early in my visit, and I got to talk to him a lot! He's such a nice guy. He really wanted to learn PNM but kept failing songs, so I taught him about 5-line and I bet he'll be kicking ass soon! Yar, so anyway, I played a couple games of DDR, a lot of games of PNM, and a fair number of games of PPP. I played like ONE game of DM. It sucked because there were these guys who were hogging GF/DM to do session and never got off the machines, so I finally got up and went, and after I was done this other asian guy I hadn't seen before with his own drumsticks sat down and HE didn't get up for the next 2 hours... bah, I can't win.

Anyway, I think I know most of the routine for Feeling of Love now - at the end of the evening I did a "beatmania" nonstop on PPP for Sean (Feeling of Love, Romeo & Juliet, Yesterday, and Remember Me) and I FC'ed the first 3 songs, whee. OH, and I also started passing a bunch of stuff on Another/Hyper/Whatever on PNM! YAY! And my accomplishment of the evening is AA'ing 5.1.1 Heavy Single :) 12 greats!

Hung out a bit after IZ talking about Puzzle Pirates, and then came home and played Puzzle Pirates. We had the most RETARDED jobbers ever on the Bilge Rats tonight... but then we got a good crew and went on one of the most kickass runs ever; I think our total take was around 15k. Despite all the CMU alumni in YHY, I'm seriously debating jumping to Bilge Rats. But I know how Murphy's Law works; if I jump crew, I'm sure suddenly the Rats will never be on when I am, and the YHY will suddenly always be on and hiring. Bleh. Oh well. Now I'm going to sleep. I want to get up earlyish and go run errands...

BTW, do NOT get me started on talking about baseball. I think it will be better for everyone if I just completely ignore the freakin' postseason.

Was jobbing with Farren a bit. Became glad that I had learned how to target in Sea Battle, since he started planking people for not doing that. :)
Still not sure if I can watch messages and duty-puzzle with anything except carpentry and still do vaguely well at it. Sailing takes up a lot of concentration just to not get into insoluble situations.

Obviously one of the options for a sword should be "hammer", which would allow one to play carpentry instead of puzzle-fighter during sword battles. Like, when you got a Craftmanship it would drop sprinklies, and a Masterpiece would drop a sword or something. Swords dropped on you would knock pieces out of the holes or expand them.
I suppose you'd also get "bucket" to play bilge and "rope" to play sailing.
