My friend Dave (Kowalski, he was one of my students at PGSS '96) just sent me email saying he's coming up to Pittsburgh later this week and wanted to hang out with me, before he goes off to Japan for the JET program.
I want to cry. Not only is this another "God, I wish I could go to Japan" moment, but I would so love to hang out with Dave again. *sadsadsadsadsadsadsad* The last time I saw him was Otakon 2001 and it was like 12:30am so I only got to talk to him for like 15 minutes before we all had to hit the road :(
I guess the solace is that it'll be yet another reason to go to Japan... if I can ever find people to go with.
Also, I am moving at work again. So now I am moving stuff from one cube I never sit in to another cube I'll never sit in. Yay.
