I'd step to the side and say, "Hey ground, I'm nobody's lunch."

They got me a desk today! Oh no! No more couch for me!

I realized part of why my setup at work is so cool... I mean, there I was, on a couch with a laptop doing random work, while other people were sitting around doing work, a guy was writing diagrams on a whiteboard while people were arguing over system design, drinking Coke, eating snacks, and getting ready to play ping pong...

...it's just like the CS Lounge 5 years ago :)

ANYWAY today I did some major cool stuff to our team's website because I'm a Mason/Perl goddess, and then I went to the Seattle Center alone after work for a game or two of DDR for old times' sake. I played two games. It's 5/6 songs a game so that's not a small amount. It turns out the arcade isn't open late yet, so after my second game, like 7:30pm, I turned to the guy behind me like "Do you want to play?" and he was like "No, I want to close the arcade... I was waiting for you to finish." DOH! I thought it'd be open late after memorial day but apparently it's not until June 20 or something. Still, I had some good games and it was fun.

I took the bus home, did laundry, and Eli cooked salmon and broccoli and noodles and whatnot for dinner and now I'm stuffed and waiting for my stuff to dry still.

Also, I want a GBA-SP. Where should I get one from? Apparently Amazon doesn't actually directly sell them, and I'm sad about that (no discount for me).

Sounds like your job can be pretty fun at times. =)

Probably EBX, I've been quite tempted to get one, there's two new colours coming out in September - black and red, although they have flashier names for them. I'll probably get a silver one and a silver gamecube (to play Zelda) because, well, shiny.

Check Circuit City, Best Buy, and CompUSA. These retailers tend to bundle a game with the GBA-SP, and if you're lucky (or you ask a manager) you might be able to get a game that you like. I got Guilty Gear X with mine, which is a great game but the GBA version is lame. Fry's had really crappy GBA SP prices last time I looked.

And yeah, the new colors come out in September. I like my cobalt SP though. :) I find it amusing that there are more threads on the GameFAQs GBA message board about colors than anything else.

I bought mine at Sam's Club bundled with Super Mario World (Super Mario Advance) and a strategy guide. I think it was $120 or something.
