thursday is kinda like wednesday?
Today was REALLY HOT OUT. Okay, so it was like 80 degrees, but that's fucking hot for Seattle. At lunchtime I went outside with a bunch of guys from my group and we ate Pacmed cafeteria food and talked about random stuff. I have this bad feeling that I came off as a big dork, but hopefully they don't care, other than that it was a lot of fun. Lalala. Spent the afternoon in a training class thingy and then talking to Hemant about Perl and C++ threading issues in the platform. Yummy.
Mark and I took the bus out to Illusionz, which was a vague adventure, and then we played a ton of DDR until Dave showed up, at which point Mark and Dave basically glued themselves to the Drummania and Guitar Freaks machines :) They're getting good at it though, which rocks because I'll be able to session with them more eventually. (I did session with them once, it was fun.) However Farren was there and he got me to play through some of his new edits, and Kiefer showed up too, and Tanya and Keevon were there for a while, and Hyunsuk and his wife. So it was cool because I still had people to hang out with even though a big gang of CMU people didn't show up after all. Nobody AAA'ed Waka Laka, which is just as well since Tanya's new camera ran out of batteries. But as I pointed out... "Keevon, 'Waka Laka' has four A's in it. You only need to get three of them!"
Anyway I got four new AA's and a new heavy SDG :) Sadly tough, I was feeling pretty crappy towards the end of the night, my stomach hurt and I felt kind of dizzy. I hope I'm not getting sick again. That would suck a lot. Anyway. Mark's going to be SO GOOD AT BEMANI BY THE TIME HE LEAVES SEATTLE :)

daviticus?) was nice enough to give me a ride home. He's a nice guy, hopefully I'll hang out with him at IZ more this summer! I hope he didn't get lost giving Mark a ride home after and getting back to Redmond though. Heh.
EDIT> Oh anyone who doesn't read myeub's journal! The other day he took some amazing pictures of flowers and ducks and bunnies. They are, for lack of a better term, OMG-CUTE!
