...may be where it's been, but it's not where it's at
I am so tired... dunno why. Probably still recovering from the last month of excitement?
Hey, I mailed out my taxes today. That was fun. I filed the PA ones online and then mailed the Pittsburgh ones too. The Pittsburgh ones say something like "if you left the state, mail a copy of the tax form for your state with this," and I was like "well, shit, Washington doesn't HAVE a state income tax... maybe I should write 'Segmentation Fault (core dumped)' on a piece of paper and send that?" I mean, geez, it's their fault for trying to get me to dereference a null pointer...
Anyway, aside from that, it was a fairly normal day. I went to the Crocodile Cafe after work and got tickets for the May 7th TMBG concert for me and Eli and Megan and Josh. So if you want to come with us, GO GET YOUR TICKETS. As an aside, the show is 21+. Not that I think I have any TMBG-fan friends under 21 anymore, at least not in Seattle.
Went to Megan and Josh's house 'cause today was Josh's birthday and all (so the TMBG tickets were a convenient birthday present... "here's your birthday present - your plans for my birthday!"). We ordered Indian food and played Puerto Rico, just me and Eli and Josh... 'cause Eli hadn't played before. And go figure, Eli actually won, 57 to 49 to my measly 45. I totally was behind the whole time somehow... going second sucks in a 3-player game. I only got one of the big buildings, and didn't really forge through with any strategy. Oh well, it's all good.
Talked a bit, then came home. I'm listening to Sudden Shuffle Sondheim Soundtrack Revolution. Company, Into the Woods, and A Little Night Music. Good stuff :)
