...war was beginning.

Today... tonight... actually, wow, I don't have as much to say as I thought I did. I went to IZ, and got some cool new AA's and stuff. There was confusion in getting there, I had no idea ifcrackoon was actually coming, and then Steve (aquatwo, that is) got stuck at work... but everything worked out ok. I went down around 5:50 and checked Uwajimaya and James and Miyuki were there, so I walked to the car, came back, got them, and we waited for Steve, he showed up a bit later. Drove out to IZ. I must admit it made my head hurt to spend half of my time talking in English to Steve and half-listening in on the conversation in Japanese between Miyuki and James. :P Sadly, I'm still too shy and stupid to really speak in Japanese with anyone anymore... Anyway, some people were there. Farren gave me back 4th mix. Tanya and Charlie were there, and Tanya got some insane scores on things. And Mike-the-Nintendo-guy was there with some people, and I think he left his ID there. And Wes was there! He's so good at DM and GF, it's insane, but he always says he isn't. Hmm, I made Steve play Pop'n'Music with me, and I think I got him hooked :) Anyway, we headed home at closing time. I dropped Steve off at Uwajimaya and then managed to figure out how to get to the hotel Miyuki's staying at, and then went to drop James off, except I realized, shit, the car was almost completely out of gas. So, fortunately we found a 7-11 with a Citgo in it and I filled the tank halfway (basically, aquatwo was nice enough to give me gas money so I filled it up that much. No, I never ask for or expect anyone to give me gas money, for the record, but I won't turn it down. :) Well, I will, but I'll accept it when offered a second time.) and then drove James the rest of the way home and came home. Eli got back an hour or so later. He got me another copy of Make Way For Ducklings when he was in Portland! Yay! So now there is even more ducky goodness for people to read in the bathroom downstairs. For the record, Make Way For Ducklings is simply one of the best duck books ever. If you're a duck fan at all, I highly recommend it.
Oh yeah, for the record, I tried some of the DM5 qualifying songs tonight, and yeah, there's no fucking way I'm entering. I barely managed to PASS Gentle Stress Left, let alone PA it.
I love Myers-Briggs. Good to know so many of my friends are NP-Complete. Won't be solving any of you guys in polynomial time... Lots of INTPs and ENFPs, anyway. My closest friends usually fit into those two.
