God, I suck, I should be asleep. what else is new...
Got to work late... went to Westlake for lunch... bought lots of family Christmas presents. God, I hate Christmas sometimes. I have to tell you, most of you aren't getting presents from me merely because I just don't know what to get you, and there's no reason for me to buy things for people just because of the time of year (except that family's got dibs on the whole obligation thing). Maybe on my birthday I will go buy presents for people, hobbit-style.
Went to IZ tonight with the usual suspects. It was fun, I cleared 17 new heavy songs, AA'ed Spin the Disc Heavy, got B's on Shiritori in KBM and DM, hung out with people, etc. (AA'ing spin the disc would be so much more exciting if not for upon arrival I talked to Keevon and he was like "hey, I AAA'ed Spin the Disc Heavy today!" I'm happy for him though.) I passed some new catas and some new songs in general (not sure why I was so scared of Baby Love Me or I'm In the Mood For Dancing before now...) and all. When I got home I found out I could check my arcade link data from 5th mix, so I made a spreadsheet. Ha, I have 29 heavy songs left to clear. 2 are 7-footers, 8 are 8-footers, 17 are catas and the two MAXes. I've played very few of the 190 BPM and above variety, and I seem to do worst at songs starting with T. :) I was wearing my Phatmaster shirt tonight, and it actually got a few comments (mostly to the effect of "succ it?" and "wtf is lambda calculus?")
Went to Krispy Kreme after with Ryan, Steve, and Allan. No more cranapple crunch or whatever. Was still fun though.
