The Evening Gang
I went to Kiltie after work. I picked up pictures beforehand. They are mostly dark. I hate my camera. I need a new one or to stop fucking up indoor shots with it. Yeah, I also need a new flash. Sigh.
Kiltie was fun. I made up the BAQ after saying "I'm psyched for Sleigh Ride!" to Nate and Clinton when we were walking in. So the BAQ was "If you were going to make up a bumper sticker for Sleigh Ride, what would it say?" Whee. After Kiltie, I actually walked over to MMA and looked in on Drew's roselawn house and on Bloodgod house, but I didn't see anyone around at either and didn't get a response to knocking, so I left and went to the UC (Sorry!). I saw Drew there with Ben, since they are in OS hell. Played some pinball, had several butt-awful games and then had some really good ones. Sally picked on Medieval Madness, but SHE JUST DOESN'T UNDERSTAND!
Afterwards I went to Wean, where I found Carl and Eugene playing Magic. Bleh. Eugene was wondering why the heck none of us are ever around during the day, and referred to us as "the evening gang", and I explained that, well, some of us have to, like, work and all. Yeah. So, after a while, Carl and I grabbed Indian food from ToI and came back and tried to get people to play board games. Bob Rost came by! Bob Rost rules! He is way cool! We were honored by his presence! Except that I spilled curry on my shirt, but that's another story. Yay Bob Rost! Noble also came by, and I had not seen him in a while. He apparently had a quite dramatic accident at ice hockey the other day and went slamming right through a glass wall, but surprisingly he only has one or two big scars from it (they are quite yucky though). We're supposed to play bridge sometime. Yay.
Finally, we made people play Tigris and Euphrates. I won, but barely. It was because Carl pissed off Martin and Jason and I enough that we spent most of the game hammering on him. I think the game gets weird balance when one of the more experienced players is one of the ones doing all the fucking around and meddling early on... I prefer to build up stuff and *then* go after everyone.
So that's the adventures of the Evening gang for tonight.
Also, something around here smells like feet. Ugh.
Also, I was good and just got my work done that I should have finished at work today. I have to be in at 10 tomorrow. Blah.
