I should have been shopping today, but oh well
Today I meant to get up earlier, but infact slept until 2:30pm. Called
agh and made "plans", meaning we talked for half an hour on the phone and I said "oh, just come over already."
Eli got home in the meantime between then and Drew's arrival, and so we hung out some more, then decided to go get food. I suggested Indian, and we went to Bengal Tiger. Shared chicken tikka masala, paneer saag, and tandoori garlic chicken. All was good. Went to Half-Price Books afterwards. I showed Drew the Cardhaus or whatever it's called... but I am still just scared to go there because I don't know anyone there AND I don't play Magic the Gathering. Shrug.
Spent an hour or so in HPB, got some movies and some books (notably I picked up the Fantasy Gamer's Bible and another Greyhawk Personalities book. If I ever decide to DM anything Greyhawkish, I'll at least have plenty of people to toss out at everyone!). After that we came back here and I made Eli and Drew watch Antitrust with me. I'd seen it a few times before on my flights to/from Japan last summer. It was just as amusing as I remembered it being. I think it was even funnier for us since Drew started working at Microsoft a few months ago and all.
Anyway, Drew left, then I went and practiced my baritone bugle thingy for a while and damn do my lips hurt. I'm going to play some IIDX, then go to sleep, I think.
I need more jeans. And the K-mart on Aurora doesn't have my jeans. Sigh.
