Cubyrop!

Lunch today: [personal profile] pauldf and I took the streetcar to Pioneer Square, intending to get mexican food, but the place has closed down. Oops. Got Soup Daddy food instead, which was very good.

I, err, got drafts out of the documents I was supposed to write this week, but they sort of suck. We'll see what everyone thinks of them when I go to work on Monday. :) At least I made pretty pictures.

Went home; napped a little. More than I intended actually. Then Eli and I went to Mori, a Japanese restaurant up on 85th. I had the Tonkatsu/Tempura dinner again and it was as good as I remembered it. Mmmm.

Then I drove to Illusionz because, hey, I made an arcade link memcard yesterday and wanted to see if it worked. Well, it works. :) There were very few people at the arcade; the only other people on the DDR machines at ALL during the evening were Hyunsuk and his other half (I dunno if wife or girlfriend; she is also really good at DDR). He waved at me and I waved back as I was leaving, but I pretty much played on the door-side machine and he played on the airhockey-side machine.

I mostly did like, a set of DDR, then another Bemani game, then DDR, then Bemani, back and forth a lot, mostly with KBM. I passed Presto on Light+ on KBM. This REALLY surprised me as it's supposedly one of the hardest songs. I guess I've played it in IIDX enough. I also finally figured out how to select Another mode in DrumMania, and promptly failed Sakura no Toki. Eh, I still had fun.

As far as my DDR achievements -- well, I did finally get an A on Long Train Runnin', which means maybe I'll qualify for the LG2 tournament next weekend. I also passed a bunch of catas to have them on my card (Twilight Zone, Burning Heat, I Feel, My Summer Love, and I'm probly forgetting a few). Sight-read a bunch of random Heavy songs, and am torn between whether Candy Star or B4U is my strongest 5-foot song. Whee. It is kind of neat having a memcard! I feel so leet!

I wonder if I should make a separate journal for my videogaming achievements or something... both to make it easier for me to track, and so people don't have to read them all.
