You are correct about the bad guys being more interesting than the good ones. I was never a fan a Cattie Brie and her silly accent. The dwarf doesn't talk like that, why should she? Jarlaxle and Entreri were always more interesting. Maybe that is why they have had such a spotlight in the last few books?
