I guess it depends on who you call the hero. But no, not really. I've considered Drizzt to be too boring to follow these days, anyway.

Hmm, since nobody really *has* to read these comments, I'll give it away here. The last sentence of the book pretty much has Jarlaxle and Entreri riding off into the sunset... and Jarlaxle remarks how he can trust Entreri like a brother. "But Jarlaxle Baenre, third son of Matron Baenre, once sacrificed to Lloth by his mother and siblings, knew better than to trust his own brother." I mean, Jarlaxle has been a "mysterious rogue" leading the mercenary band for what, seven or eight books now? I can't find my copy of "Exile", which is where I thought he first showed up, or I'd go reread his intro.. but either way, I had no idea. And I have a feeling that there's just going to be no more background or no more Jarlaxle/Entreri stories anyway. (You know a series has taken a serious turn when you'd rather read more about the bad guys than the good guys...)
