They told me they considered doing that for us but didn't. Maybe it's because they printed one out (which you eventually got), and it was such a nightmare that they didn't want to make a second. Really, I'm not sure the left hand really knew what the right hand was doing. They definitely made a lot of impulsive decisions.
(That said, one thing I'm glad they *didn't* do is mess with the lead teams' runarounds. Yeah, everyone's complaining about how long it was, but come on: You're trying to win the MIT Mystery Hunt! Suck it up. :) Also, I think in general it's better not to mess with a plan, even if the plan was only hours old. When they messed with it on Sunday: chaos and confusion. But it sounds like the Saturday ones were fine.)
Everybody's annoyed by the word search in one way or the other. :) It sounds awfully un-fun, but that's no different from a lot of Hunt puzzles. Actually, the way the Kraken talked, I think they thought they were sparing us the agony! I probably wouldn't care if we hadn't spent a good 4.5 hours we could have been doing the full runaround sitting around tired and hungry and gross. Like, if we had solved Atlantis at 4:30 PM, I'd be like, this is on us.
