We played some of our D&D campaign tonight. I'm finding it troublesome to remember how to play a character with high wis and low int. Like, as a person I immediately can figure out what the hell is going on but I'm like "would my hippie character get it or not?"
Whatever, it'll get better as we get used to things.
Funny thing tonight: noticed that one of my baseball club buddies from Hosei is using a photo I took of him as his FB profile pic... but clearly he like, took a cellphone photo of the paper print photo I gave him, so I went and sent him a real JPG to use. I then noticed that a whole lot of other boys in the baseball club have FB accounts. Can't decide if I should try to friend them or not. Some of them might go for it, most would be like "omg what? crazy gaijin". Shrug.
Funny thing yesterday: Saw an old white dude wearing a Yomiuri Giants hat on the way to work. Called out at him "That's a crappy Yomiuri hat you have there," and he stopped to talk to me for a bit. I explained a little of my backstory and expressed shock that nobody had ever yelled "Kutabare Yomiuri" at him given how the Giants in Japan are like the Yankees here. He was like "No.. you're the first..."
