Phone Company Park
Went to the Giants-Reds game with Phil and Jenny tonight, since they live fairly close to AT&T Park. It was exciting to be at a big stadium full of people, I guess, but it was awfully cold out. I expected a low-scoring game and that's what we got. Madison Bumgarner apparently has really awful luck when it comes to run support and the Reds won 3-0.
I have come to the conclusion that baseball in the US is not entirely terrible, as long as you go with friends. I just can't imagine myself going to games by myself anymore, really, is all... which I could do endlessly in Japan, because you're never REALLY alone.
After the game we came back here and played a game of Puerto Rico, just the three of us. It had been a LONG time since I played. I still did Hospice/Factory like in the old days, finished with 58 points, Phil finished with 60 on a shipping strategy. Good times, I guess.
