In SF, hooray

skydiamonde's couch! This SF couchsurfing and catching up with friends thing is pretty neat. Unfortunately it is 3am because, well, I didn't get here until after 10pm, and Kevin was here, and we played several rounds of Seven Wonders, and then also Jenny and I tried this word-guessing game thing as well. Clearly my "If I crash with people I will get a lot of time to talk and play games with them" theory is working out so far.
What's really funny is that I thought I had no clue who this Phil guy rooming with her is, except that I met him like 7 years ago whenrkane and folks were in Seattle hanging out on Smoak's houseboat. He still doesn't talk much :)
I almost missed my flight this morning. We got a late start out because I'm lazy, and then there was a longer-than-usual line at security. I took advantage of my Premier status with United to use the "priority line" and it was still slow. There was a family a few people behind me, and the kids are like "Daddy, why did we go over here?" and he's like "Because this is the super-secret line for people like Daddy who fly a lot. It's the Maybe Faster line."
Work continues to be fun. I stayed afterwards to play board games with my coworkers yet again for several hours :)
