Ikebukuro
Went to Ikebukuro tonight to print out more photos to try to get signed tomorrow (really I just want Rikkio's captain Soichiro Tanaka, all else will be gravy, but I'm actually not confident in my ability to get him). I decided to go to Ikebukuro just for a change since I always go to Akihabara to print photos.
Was a little too late to stop by the baseball card shop, which is just as well... I really shouldn't go there until AFTER payday. Instead, I got kaitensushi for dinner at the 136-yen place, and it was good, and then I went to Book-Off, where I was leafing through the baseball magazines and found a Koshien 1987 one for 300 yen. It had a few pages ripped out but overall was intact and OMG it's so funny seeing high school photos of guys like Tatsunami, Tanishige, Toshihisa Nishi, Atsushi Kataoka, Hideki Irabu, even Takuro Ishii (back then a pitcher from Tochigi and named Tadanori Ishii), as well as Masumi Kuwata's little brother Izumi (who is now a pro golfer). Totally worth it, really.
The Adores arcade nearest the Sunshine exit has rearranged itself to have a covenient music games corner in the back now (and it seems smoking is not allowed at all in there). So I played some Jubeat and some Pop'n. I'm really out of practice.
There's no rain in the forecast for this weekend, and yet it is raining right now. I hope college ball doesn't rain out or I will cry.
