Fuck blogging.

No, really. Fuck it. I wish I could think of a single damn reason to continue spending any time on Marinerds at all. I should be saving all of this stuff for the book. And "this stuff" is largely the personal interactions with fans that I've been tracking here.

You could/should keep writing on Marinerds to keep people interesting interested, as a pre-publication promotional tool? (Fair enough if you don't consider that a good enough reason, but I thought I'd throw it out there.)

I don't know, man, I think Marinerds is pretty cool as a blog, but if you have something more rewarding to focus that energy and material and thought on, it's hard to justify also blogging.

For what it's worth, as someone with only a casual interest in baseball and Japanese ball doubly so, I still very much enjoy reading about your travels and your games and your enthusiasm and all the little details.
