How my brain works
So this week is like last week -- 3 Fighters games on Tue/Wed/Thur. Which means each day I get up at 6:30, go to the JHS for work by 8:10am, run out of school as close to 5pm as possible, run around trains for an hour to get to a stadium, then sit at a baseball game for 3-4 hours -- or more like, stand and sit and yell and scream and jump and bang cheersticks for 3-4 hours. I get home at 11pm, have all of about 20-30 minutes of consciousness before I just zonk out... and get up 6-7 hours later to do it all over again.
Anyway, this morning I remembered to do the following things:
- bring my extra player name signs to hold up during the game
- take my recharged camera battery out of the charger and put it in my camera to bring
Things I forgot to do:
- put on deodorant
- wear a belt
- bring an extra hair tie to keep my hair back at lunchtime (still need to even though it is short)
You can see where my mind usually is.
As for yesterday, it was fun, I went to the Seibu Dome for the Fighters game, but naturally even with making all the right train connections I still couldn't get there earlier than 18:09. I might have been able to swing slightly earlier if I had stood on the express train to Hanno and hoped for a better connection at Tokorozawa, but instead I got on the special Seibu Dome train at Nerima, which was half-empty, so I sat down and slept for half the ride anyway.
When I got there I bought omurice from a van outside the stadium. It was freaking delicious, but perhaps not worth the wait when I am already 10 minutes late for the game.
Sat with Team 52, and the Fighters won the game 9-1. The stands were fairly sparse on the Fighters side. Sakamoto was there and I hung out with him a bit too.
There was a "Woman's Night" thing going on with women being allowed to go on the field and play catch and do batting practice and stuff, but since I was there with mostly guys, and was tired anyway, we didn't do that. We'll do Salaryman Night on Thursday and play catch on the field instead.
Yawn.
Time for some speaking tests...
