Wednesday night at Jingu

Swallows 4, Giants 3. Woohoo! Hung out with Kozo and Chris again, and another old friend came by to say hi for an inning or two as well.

There was this stellar sunset going on in the 4th inning, and the Swallows were down 3-1 at the time, so I said "Okay, D'Antona and Takeuchi are up next... one of them better hit a home run so I can get a photo of Sunset With Umbrellas." Instead, those two guys walked and then were batted in by Aikawa and Miyamoto, and Fukuchi batted in a go-ahead run and the Swallows went up 4-3 that inning and then OMGBULLPEN! But Shohei Tateyama might have injured himself running the bases, so that sucks.

Still, I got a nice picture. Good thing the team was taking requests on the Actually Hitting The Ball axis of things.

I want a Yakult jersey, still can't decide what player. Wore my Furuta t-shirt last night but I really ought to retire it one of these years. I did almost just buy an Iihara #9 jersey but felt I still needed to think about it a bit, 7000 yen feels like a lot.
