Monday I went to Sagamihara for the Fighters game; they won 13-3. Finally. Sat with Shinozawa and some others... but half our friends ended up in the infield because the outfield sold out, WTF. Oh, Sakamoto met me at the station so we could figure out the buses together, but then he sat in the back with the ouendan. I yelled hi to Terrmel Sledge in the outfield before the game too, he apparently still remembers me.
In the afternoon before that, actually, I had been waiting for a package, which was a DVD of the 2008 Tokyo Big 6 fall season, which I watched in the background while doing other stuff. I wish they'd made more of those DVDs, but I guess they didn't sell as much as they anticipated due to the Saitoh factor.
Today I had dinner at Heiroku, and I ran errands at Yokado, namely I got conditioner, which I kept forgetting to do for a week. Didn't know I needed to get toilet paper, so maybe I will have to head back sometime soon.
I also stopped by the travel agency in Akabane station -- and I am seriously considering going to Sapporo for the weekend of June 26-27. I was originally going to go to Nagoya then, but then stuff happened. Only thing is, I dunno if I should go ahead and buy Fighters tickets or if I should email the nice people who told me last year, "if you are EVER coming here, don't hesitate to ask us for tickets, we can hook you up since there's always someone in our group who isn't going to any given game", and did infact hook me up with a season ticket pass for a weekend last year. I just feel weird since I haven't really talked to them since sending a new year's greeting. I guess it couldn't hurt to ask.
Also trying to make plans for when Mike gets here in like 10 days OMG. Unfortunately it seems I am a big idiot for not managing to do that until now, but I think I have a plan that involves us still going and doing some cool stuff for the weekend, it just doesn't involve a fancy Japanese ryokan or anything anymore.
I should sleep... I should also write more LJ sometime, I know.
