Boy meets Bear
I took Mike with me to the Fighters-Buffaloes game at the Tokyo Dome today. He got to meet most of my crazy friends. We sat in the 6th row instead of the front row so I could have him watch other people and figure out how to do the whole cheering thing, and he actually caught on fairly quickly to what we were doing. Unfortunately the Fighters lost 8-4 after starter Keisaku Itokazu gave up 5 runs in one inning, including walking in two, but whatever.
On the other hand, before the game while going around with Hiromi to do pinbadges, we saw the Fighters mascot and she was like "ooh, let's get your picture", so we did.

Mike pointed out that we're standing in the wrong order and I should be in the middle so our jerseys read Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters. Oh well.
Oh, and in the afternoon we ate lunch at the Baseball Cafe, where we had burgers and fries and coke, just like the US, except it came with weird salad and soup to remind us that we were in Japan. And then I got Mike to play Block People with me! Hooray :)
