Life is good :)
I spent the afternoon cleaning up a little yesterday, then grabbed tempura at the station for lunch and took the Keisei slow line to the airport. Got there at 5pm to find out his plane had landed at 4:30 and spent a panicked 20 minutes waiting by the exit worried that I'd missed him until he showed up. We took the Skyliner back to Tokyo together so that we could actually sit together in reserved seats without the screaming kids that had accompanied me on the trip there, and then I got to show him lovely wonderful Akabane! Well, or more like, cold horrible dark Tokyo, right now, but whatever.
We're going to go try to see some cherry blossoms today I think, although I'm a little worried there won't be any due to the FREEZING COLD WEATHER. Oh well.
