I update on the bus with my phone!
I'm on the 269 bus for the first time ever.
Lessee, monday was a relatively down day. I spent the daytime working on going through more stuff and on crunching Tokyo big 6 baseball stats. It was raining so I didn't go for a walk. Mike had the car all day, eventually he came home and we went to dinner at Crossroads so we could get different stuff. Bizarrely the Thai place there DOES make good noodles. We looked for Hero books at Uncle's but they didn't have them.
I watched the Pink Lady Day at Jingu game. Masanori Ishikawa is a southpaw so that was funny.
Tuesday I went into Seattle for the day. I drove to Safeway in the morning first though and on the way home took a very sharp turn into the roundabout and made a small rip jn the back right tire... but Mike looked at it and determined it was just a surface tear. Fortunately (?) he had left his phone at home so it wasn't entirely a waste of time for me to stop by.
Onwards to Seattle. Carl was also running late so I ended up picking him up by campus instead of meeting at ToI. We went to ToI for lunch and split stuff, which was good. Then on the way back to Ballard, we went for a walk around Greenlake... I got out our baseball gloves and made Carl play catch with before like 10 mins and then wd walked.
Ballard involved searching through the closet and loading the car with a whole bunch more of my stuff. Lifting boxes sucks, but Carl helped me carry things, which was really nice of him.
Unfortunately it was about 5:30pm by that point, which is completely awful for driving across the lake. So instead I ended up going for a walk with Carl to Safeway and back. It was a good day for walking!
Anyway, I dropped off a few boxes at home so the front seat would be open for Mike, and then picked him up from work.
Sandwiches! And then more Swallows-Dragons. I looked for my friends in Sec D but didn't see them...
I gotta figure out what to do with a whole bunch of my belongings. I will probably post here or Facebook before I put things on Craigslist or EBay - I figure that friends have common interests so might want to buy some of my game/music/Japanese/whatever stuff.
Whee, at MS. More later. Buses rock!
